euigoo kim· 3 months agoThere are no Jukbab (Korean rice soup) places where I currently live, which has been tough because my family moved here from Busan, and Gukbab is one of those comfort foods we miss the most. I visited this restaurant with my spouse and another couple—four of us in total. Two of us ordered Sundae Gukbab (blood sausage soup) and the other two ordered Seokgeo Gukbab (assorted meat and intestine soup). Before the main dishes arrived, they served a small bowl of barley rice (Kkong-boribap). It wasn't a huge portion, but it was the perfect appetizer to work up our appetite. When the Gukbab finally came out, it was exactly the taste we had been searching for and dreaming of. It was so delicious that we rushed into eating and I completely forgot to take a picture! Edward Park然道· 7 months agoBreakfast was a hangover cure — pork dishes to start the day. A rich yet clean broth without any gamy smell, tender slices of boiled pork, less sweet and more generous in portion than the 함지박. The boiled pork platter was 100% satisfying. It warmed my stomach and felt like a proper beginning to the day.
Dru Looks· 6 months agoThis must be a local favorite since all the customers were Koreans. Even the signage on the restaurant is in Korean and you can only guess it is the right restaurant because your gps map takes you there. We had some beef short rib stew which we almost thought it was pork when it got served. It was okay. Service was great though. Menu is on a digital notepad in every table and it is where you order as well. Glad they don’t do a scan a QR code to look up menu or pay your bill.
