This review is for the technical support and parts staff at Yamaha 24x7. Jamie and Kevin, support techs at Yamaha 24x7 have always stepped up with the right parts to keep my Yamaha keyboards in action. They have responded promptly to emails and it never takes too long to get someone on the phone. Not only is the support fast and accurate, getting the parts directly from Yamaha is far less expensive compared to other vendors reselling Yamaha parts. I am just a hobbyist musician and over the years have had to get some help and new parts from Yamaha! Every Yamaha tech support interaction has exceeded my expectations. I am now waiting for one felt which is the last part that should go a long ways in refreshing the key action of my MODX6. It took four years, but eventually a key broke. The parts were so inexpensive, I keep a selection of keyboard pieces in stock.

DO NOT EVER BUY STEREO EQUIPMENT FROM YAMAHA! summary: they sold me an expensive lemon, they can't fix it, they refuse to replace it, and all well within the warranty - now I'm taking Yamaha to small claims court because I HAVE NO OTHER OPTION. The unit: Yamaha AVENTAGE RX-A4A, purchased new June 2024 from an authorized dealer (Crutchfield). In warranty (5-year AVENTAGE coverage) the entire time. The fault: The receiver shuts down during playback, tripping its protection circuit. It's volume-dependent — the louder it plays, the sooner it dies (anywhere from ~2 minutes to ~10+). After every fault shutdown it restarts at -40 dB, which I learned is the protection-trip signature (non-fault shutdowns like the eco timer preserve the volume setting — useful diagnostic if you're chasing something similar). The history: The shutdowns started in 2024 and by August 2025 the unit died completely

I had a great visit with Mary and the rest of the Yamaha team. State of the faculties and instruments. Highly recommended!
